The understanding of cancer as a single cell DNA mutation that leads to uncontrolled growth is a hypothesis that is quickly dying. We now understand that cancer is a system wide disease that requires a system wide approach for prevention and treatment. Blood oxygen measurements via pulse oximeter only give a very small part of the total body and tissue oxygenation picture. Improving cell membrane integrity and restoring insulin sensitivity improves cardiovascular health and total cell and microvasculature oxygenation. In most cases cancer is simply a cell adapting to its low oxygen, insulin resistant environment and this appears on the surface as a mutant cell with way more glucose receptors able to replicate rapidly without the ability to initiate apoptosis. This may actually begin happening long before a tumor can be sighted because the immune system if still functioning will spot the rogue cells and destroy them. Once all the dominoes have fallen a tumor will develop and in some cases progress rapidly if the conditions are right. Genetic variability can bias a certain organ or tissue type to develop insulin resistance and oxygen starvation earlier than others explaining why some tissues develop cancer first and at different ages. Lets now consider the everyday offenders that disrupt our mitochondrial respiration and setup the metabolic triggers for all cancer formation. Followed by the solution to halt the environment that sets the stage for cancer, please note that cancer is an advanced end stage disease state and can be difficult to reverse, but its not impossible.
Lipid Peroxidation from Excess Omega 6 Linoleic Acid, a Polyunsaturated Fat (PUFA)
When we consume an excessive amount of Omega 6, it competes with Omega 3 and binds to the cardiolipin within our mitochondria. This binding process disrupts our cell membranes, reducing their fluidity. As cardiolipin becomes oversaturated with Omega 6 and the cell's DNA is damaged, it loses the ability to signal the enzyme CASPASE 3 to initiate apoptosis, or programmed cell death. Consequently, the compromised cell membranes and impaired cellular function pave the way for various illnesses, including insulin resistance (diabetes), atherosclerosis, heart disease, Alzheimer's, cancer, and more. Ideally, maintaining an Omega 3 to 6 ratio of 1:1 is crucial and supports the optimal function of the delta6-desaturase enzyme, ensuring a surplus of Omega 3 in the body. Delta6-desaturase is responsible for converting Alpha Linolenic Acid to omega-3 EPA DHA. ITs double bonds are also fragile making it reactive with iron and other peroxides in the body.

Excess Vitamin A Overloading Liver Hepatocytes
An excess of A in the liver will begin to pool into the rest of the body and be converted to retinoic acid causing considerable DNA damage. Left unregulated for years this can result in many terrible immune conditions and eventually cells damaged enough to start replicating uncontrollably.
High Fructose Corn Syrup and Artificial Sweeteners
High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) is a highly refined form of fructose derived from corn, which is difficult for the liver to process and has obesogenic properties. Additionally, there is evidence suggesting that HFCS may be contaminated with pesticides and heavy metals. Artificial sweeteners, due to their sweetness and absence of calories, can confuse the body's insulin signaling pathways leading to metabolic and mitochondrial disfunction.
Glyphosate
Glyphosate is sprayed on many commonly consumed crops and has been found to disrupt the gut barrier. This disruption allows endotoxins (gram-negative bacteria) and undigested food proteins to enter the bloodstream, leading to liver damage and immune reactions. The detoxification and energy resources of the body are significantly affected by this.
Living Isolated from the Sun
The sun's precious infrared and ultraviolet spectrums increase synthesis of NAD+ in the mitochondria and Vitamin D synthesis in the dermal layer. Deficiencies in these processes can also lead to downregulation of important T Regulator cells in the immune system. In relation to cancer cells, T Regulator cells are important for detecting cancer cells and keeping them under control by activating the process that recruits other members of the immune system to the site of cancerous cells.
Heavy Metals and Microplastics
Large farmed fish, as well as large ocean fish, can bioaccumulate mercury and PFAS (polyfluoroalkyl substances) from poor-quality fish feed pellets. Choosing wild salmon can often be a better alternative to farmed fish. Mercury Amalgams are also a serious concern and should be removed by a highly skilled professional if undertaken at all.
Failed or Poorly Maintained Dental Work
Improperly executed wisdom tooth extractions that have not healed correctly can lead to the formation of anaerobic pockets where bacteria and necrosis of the jawbone can occur. Bacteria from these areas can enter the bloodstream and contribute to the development of cancers in other parts of the body. The same is true for root canals and damaged tooth fillings.
Destruction of Soil Quality from Monocrop Industrial Farming
The consistent use of herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers, such as nitrogen, in monocrop industrial farming disrupts the balance of microbial life, fungal species, and worm populations in the soil. This disruption causes the collapse of the soil ecosystem, depletes critical nutrients in the food supply chain, and leads to the overconsumption of empty foods containing mostly fiber, glucose, and plant defense compounds.
Animals Raised in Confinement
Animals kept in tight confinement, such as in SCAFFO (Standard Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation) systems, have very little quality of life. They are primarily fed grains that could contain mold and pesticides, resulting in poor nutrient capacity and excess fat accumulation that can also contain dioxins and other toxins such as increased omega 6 contents at harmful levels.
The Influence of Genetics
Factors like sleep, diet, exercise, environment, and lifestyle account for approximately 80% of disease risk, including cancer. The remaining 20% is influenced by genetics and can impact the age of onset for a disease. It is worth noting that all human beings have a genetic predisposition for some type of cancer. Genetic sequencing reports typically reveal risks rather than diagnosing disease, as they don't provide specific revelations beyond the inherent genetic predispositions. It is important to consider that in some cases rare genetic variations can result in genetics playing a larger role in cancer formation.
Iron Overload or Dysregulation
While iron rich foods like red meat are very beneficial for the body their iron content can be a pitfall for those with disrupted iron metabolism. Particularly in males who do not shed any blood, iron accumulates into middle age and earlier and can cause serious problems if left unaddressed. To prevent excess iron it must be balanced with a full compliment of trace minerals. Ferritin levels above 150 deserve immediate action such as infrared sauna, therapeutic phlebotomy and or blood donation. As rule of thumb, while consuming a balanced diet a ferritin level should be maintained between 30 and 50. In males supplementation of Iron should never be considered and in females perhaps only in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy, however red meat should provide more than an abundance of bioavailable iron for pregnant women. Iron overload also disrupts the metabolism of copper required for many cell process's.
Restoring glucose metabolism of our healthy cells to burn fuel for energy and beat cancer.
Elimination of high omega 6 containing oils, nuts, seeds, poultry, pork, farmed fish and processed foods. It is nearly impossible to become deficient in omega 6. In rat models cancer was non-existent when omega 6 was below 3% of daily calories. These things block the glucose metabolism of our healthy cells. As the mitochondria loose their ability to cleanly burn glucose for energy they produce increasing amounts of reactive oxygen species that damage cells and reduce the amount of energy available to the immune system for it to notice cancer cells.
Introduction of nutrients essential glucose metabolism so that our healthy cells uptake the glucose instead of cancer cells.
CoQ10 (Found in Bovine Heart)
B1 Thiamine, B2 Riboflavin, B3 Niacinamide (Carbohydrates work well with these vitamins.)
B5 Pantothenic Acid is required for the synthesis of Coenzyme A (CoA)
Topical Magnesium (Get some magnesium chloride flakes and put it in a spray bottle to apply to skin.)
Essential Trace Minerals: Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Selenium, Molybdenum, Iodine (Elemental Iodine and Potassium Iodide)
Thyroid support nutrients mentioned above can really help with the bodies production of Triiodothyronine (T3) and increase oxidative phosphorylation to increase availability of ATP to the body so that it can initiate cell process's that dismantle cancer cells.
Red Meat and Bone Broth are very important for bowel regularity due to nutrient density and hydration.
Exposure to the sun or infrared tent, sunburns prevented by avoiding plants and plant oils with phytosterols. This ensures that the body is able to create its own sunscreen (vitamin D) in the dermal layer so that we don't have to use the toxic sunscreens found at the store.
